That's right, I'm back.
Let's just say things are different.
Since my last post, Shana & I have broken up; I don't feel like explaining, or even going back to the last posts. It just didn't work.
I'm now a senior (almost done, but what are you gonna do?)
I'm also now going out with Kari.
We tried the whole relationship thing before, and we just weren't ready. But we've always been so close, that me finally realizing I've always still liked her somehow, & then asking her out really didn't feel weird or even out of place. It was natural.
I don't feel like trying to think back over anything else that's happened because not much else feels relevant now that I'm at the end, so I'll just resume with today.
Jazz All-States. Gold Medal. first time EVER that a BMR jazz band has gotten gold at All-States.
That's all I'm really happy about right now. I'll do more later or something.

Alot has changed since last time.
I'm no longer having a bad week, or just going crazy with everything going on (such as my granfather who had brain surgery =\).
In band news: I have all my Districts Music, and my All-state piece; Winter Brass is amazing, & jazz band is pretty sick.
In the beautiful girlfriend department: everything is perfect. Shana is the most amazing girl I have ever gone out with. She is my world, and i would give up my world just for her. I love you <3
With my basic life mapped out, im gonna go wrap gifts because, if i haven't said, tommorow's Christmas Eve.
So with that, Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Kwanza, Festivus, & everything else

Umm, so i really don't know whats going on.
New Activities: Jazz Band, Brass Choir, "Brass Technique Class"
::cough cough winter brass::
Life is good, except this week has been really shitty. I know I haven't updated in forever, so we'll just start with this week. Monday, I went to prison, that was ok. Gotta love explorers. Tuesday was Jazz band, that was ok. Wednesday I stayed home sick, so that's probably where I started to like, break down. Today was just, a brick wall that stopped my happiness or something. Really weird. Winter Brass was fun, I babysat and that was a little crazy, then more Jazz band.
*plus* I don't have any stuff for all-state.
Shit.

Thank you.
To everyone in Marching Band who has made the past 6 (?) months the best of my life.
Second place was well worth it after the feeling I had walking off that field.
I've said it before, but having the greatest girlfriend & the person i care the most about in this world with me for the entire ride made it ever sweeter. I love you Shana.

holy shit.
When you win a competition, and your town's fire department gives you an escort through the entire town, you know you're good.
So, i haven't updated in awhile and i thought i'd come back with an update from today's NESBA finals. we won.
I just think it's pretty crazy when you get a 97.75, and you know that your band, your family, is only 3 points away from perfect.
It's a pretty damn good feeling, and i hope we can do it again next week.
And by the way, having the most amazing girlfriend with you the entire time, makes it that much sweeter.

last night
we had our first show. down in putnam connecticut. I decided to practice all day while being sick as a dog, which not only made me weaker, but probably made my cold worse. we ended up getting first, and it was pretty fun.

Haven't updated in awhile.
Last week was ok, except with the whole "not seeing Shana" business. Friday was homecoming, and i was voted 11th grade king, or whatever it's called. Shana got the girl half of the vote i guess you could say. basically we were like the 11th grade couple. we got to dance and i even got a cheap crown. Saturday night I hung out at mariah's with a whole bunch of people for her birthday. wicked fun time.
Today was spent sweating my balls of marching in this 80 degree heat. good news is we finished the show. ending's pretty cool
All in all, good week, and the rest of september should be fun (minus the homework)

first off
Marching band today. 1-5. Basically, trumpets got called out in the middle of practice and basically we're the worst section by far now, and we really need help. but i'll be optimistic and think that we've still got about a week to get better.

anywho... school's been good, and shana's even better. One month on tuesday. I really like this girl :)

Past 2 days have been a blast.
Yesterday, i went to Shana's like, after school or something and chilled there for dinner & stuff, which was realy good. Then we went to Becca's for a bonfire which was pretty awesome. lots of cool people.
Today i pretty much sat on my ass and was in a shitty mood all morning, and then went to mariah's and had a blast with some cool kids.
practice tommorow 1-5. really looking forward to that.

school was good again, me & kyle are the only juniors in spanish which is kinda weird, but w/e
After school went to shana's and chilled out for awhile. we watched silent hill which was freakishly cool. then came home and went to band... which i still cant describe. we can practice. it'll be good.

today was... exciting for lack of a better word.
conti for homeroom, wasnt as bad as i thought. my schedule? pretty much impossible to get it changed to have chorus and still have the same classes... so i guess it's staying how it is. I've got a study, which i dont mind cause theres some cool people in it.
5 out of 7 classes are women teachers, which is kinda weird seeing how i had all dudes last year.
so far, it's an ok year. we'll see how it goes
note to self: stop sucking at playing trumpet. |

ok.
i wake up and go to breakfast with shana which was amazing. you should try Eric's pancakes. pretty good.
then i come home and get yelled at by my dad: " lazy, irresponsible, get you act together"... i need to get on that
then i had marching, which ended with nick saying everything i've been thinking since camp. it's gonna be one hell of a year.
I think i'll leave off with the thought that im going to school tommorow with a messed up schedule (no chorus & a study) and i dont think its gonna work out. I'll let you know tommorow.

So, today was pretty fun.
Jazz lessons this morning, really good. Lunch with kyle at subway. I got too much mustard. I hate regular mustard. it sucked
Just got back from Shana's, which was fun for the whole hour & 15 minutes we had.. but w/e.
Band tommorow, school wednesday
Official end of summer: tommorow.
